Bout an hour ago i picked up a 'Executive' notebook from Asda. Basically a exact copy of a Moleskin but the cover is a leather type material. I also have a soft cover coming in.

That Asda book is great for 2 quid  :D

I have way too many Moleskines. Most 4x6 size and a few of the tiny Volants. My fav is the soft cover kraft cahier. That's my jotter to toss in ideas and notes and if they are worthy they make it to the hard cover.  Been using a Cartesio lately though. I'm cheating on my Moleskines... :dwts:

I like moleskines in theory, I don't like them in price. Your standard, a5 lined or blank moleskine runs $40-$50 in these parts.

I can get knockoffs for around $15, and thus use those for preference.

(I have my moleskine-copy in my bag or car, and an A7 notebook in my pocket (I tend to prefer ones with tear-out pages, but have been known to use others)

As a side complaint - They don't seem to make a moleskines/moleskine copies with graph lines. I'm a technician, not a poet, give me graph paper!

I've a couple of the squared variety in my store on EDCS at the moment.  Packaged weight would be around 300g though, so postage to Aus would be the £4.11 ($7.18AUD) :(
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

They have some nice stuff . If you are a fountain pen knut , you will prefer Rhodia ; better paper . Moleskine is so rich in history , makes you feel like Hemingway every time you jot down a shopping list .
