ya know the time to say something was when I said "I'm looking at a powerlock" not when I said "I just ordered a powerlock" ;)

I think he means that noone mentioned that (the fragility of the 1/4" driver) when he was asking about the Powerlock before he ordered it :)

Well i thought that, but wondered why I was quoted (mistake I guess).

FWIW for the few months I had mine I had no such probs.  SOG will sort it I am sure.  :tu:

no what it was, is that after I said I got one, Ben started he did not like SOGs and I thought that was his way of saying "I told you so."  Sorry if that was the wrong interpretation, and I agee I don't get the OH opening (seems like a good way to hurt yourself)

Clearly you don't know me at all.  If I was going to take the pee I would have simply written "I told you so!"  :D

My comment was in sympathy for you.  I was mearly pointing out that you have waited a few days and now you've got it it isn't right which must suck.  I was rolling eyes at them not you.

Hi
My spring have been lost a couple days ago and I was unhappy for a while. So much that I made my custom made spring from key holder wire-spring. And then before my wife make the crime to clean my room I found it. After that I stacked the spring with super-glue on the top of the component. I hope it 'll hold. I 'll send an e-mail to sog to improve their 1/4 adapter. A good solution is to solder the spring on the top and or to extend the lower tips and make holes to secure them properly.
I don't know if I expressed properly my ideas, I hope you understand what I want to say.
What do you think about it?

No problem understanding your post.  I agree with you.  The spring design by SOG needs improvement.

Maybe hot melt glue on the lower legs would prevent spring loss, or JB Weld to go further.
