Tiny pens - Zebra T3 T3S
on: February 21, 2010, 09:43:25 PM
Got myself a couple of tiny little writing implements from Zebra yesterday.

I wanted something small to go with my pocket notebook but hadn't decided between pen or pencil.  As these came in a pack togehter that solved that one :) £7 from my local stationery shop.  Should be a step up from the pen in the scale of my Vic. Scientist.

They seem solid enough being steel barrelled but I guess only time will tell.  The pen caught me out though, at first I thought the mechanism was broken as when I clicked the cap it didn't retract. It turns out you push the clip against the side to do this.  Don't look at me like that  ::) :-[ I didn't know and it wasn't on the packaging either.  If you look at the picture above you can see the little catch under the clip.

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

That makes 2 of us, Neil. I thought I had broken mine as well until I figured out the mechanism.  It took about 30 seconds before I figured it out (which I think is an embarrassingly long time)... :-[ :D

I am a big Zebra fan. Great value for the price and fantastic customer service too which completely surprised me.

I find this size pen a little too small for frequent use, but they are great for occasional or emergency use. They are so small that you can hide away a set almost anywhere without noticing them.

The Zebra telescoping and compact pens are also very nice. Both give you a full size pen in a small package.

Normally, I just carry the full-size Zebra G301 though.

After a couple of failed clicks I pulled it apart and it wasn't until I was putting it back together that I noticed the little catch beneath the clip.  So your thirty seconds is doing good :D

Only took a few seconds of frustrating fiddling here to figure it out! Must be the female brain ;)

I like them very much, like all Zebra products so far.  :tu:
