I didn't get to attend the show today like I had planned to do. Things at work kept me away. :(

i didnt take a whole bunch of pics because i was there for meetings, but here goes:

i love me some RAT/ESEE - Jeff/Mike/RYP are very cool dudes :drink:

some gorgeous vintage Westinghouse yellow Micarta (from a George Herron bird knife) - i want to make a highly polished multitool with this type of handle someday...

a very rare (only 50 made) and EXQUISITE George Herron fighting knife - the curvature/taper of the spine is pure art; shame the asking price was $1,800(!) or i would've have bought it  :ahhh

i did pick up these beauty, a Wayne Hendrix fighter (he was trained by Herron) - wanted to keep it, but I owe my buddy Stickman a huge thank-you so it's on its way to him

i do get to console myself with this - a cool Ti framelock with a CERAMIC blade  :tu:

No pictures from me either, didn't plan ahead very well.  :D

I had a busy Friday night (:drink:) and only managed to make it for the last 2 hours on Saturday. It was a decent show, lots of cool knives and interesting looking people. I'll tell you what, I've never seen such a concentration of knowledgeable knife-wielding ladies before! I must have spent a half-hour just at the SOG booth handling all sorts of knives I didn't know I cared about because the girl was so cute and was flipping them around like it was her job.

Coolest thing was a display of about 50-60 flashlights that were fully functioning and available to handle. Everything from tiny CR2 Nightcore lights up to the big 8AA Fenix TK40 and a bunch of other high-end brands that you could play with.

I picked up a tiny 1AAA iTP headlamp that I'm pretty excited about. No knives though, just didn't see any great deals that grabbed me. I am stoked about the Boker Gorm kitchen knives, I await their release with baited breath.
