Wenger Supertalent 54
on: February 24, 2010, 08:37:51 PM
Alright, this one's for y'all Swiss knife collectors, a somewhat rare and discontinued Wenger SuperTalent 54 with black scales.  This is an 18 implement, 31 function knife, one of the largest toolsets Wenger ever made for actual carrying.  Note that this is functionally identical to the current EvoGrip S54, just with the hard plastic scales instead of the plastic/rubber that the current EvoGrip line sports.

Knife is in incredible condition, no wear or marks on any of the tools, toothpick (unused), tweezers and compass are all present.  There is some very light wear to the scales consistent with storage, but unfortunately I couldn't get any of the pictures of the wear to show up.  Tools are unmarked, unscratched, and I think the knife may have the original factory edge on it.

I'm asking $85US, shipped in North America.  I will of course happily ship anywhere in the world, but there will be an extra associated cost - please PM me for a quote.  Paypal is preferred and I will eat the Paypal fees.  Compare this to $125 new for the EvoGrip S54, or $175 for NOS SuperTalents.

Note that if this sells before tomorrow at noon, I'll include a Vic micro driver as well (fits the corkscrew quite nicely).

Please note:  As I have received a couple of questions about this, YES, this knife has Wenger's locking screwdrivers, as shown on the "Patent" stamps on the two large drivers (seen below).

I have no idea, I'm not even sure what language it's in.  I'm sure it could be removed with a little elbow grease, but I'll leave that up to a buyer to figure out.

This is an odd question, but are you in Vancouver?

What is odd about it? Lots of people ask about trades when an item is up for sale. I live in the US, but I'll pass on it now, thanks!

And I'm pretty sure the "odd question" was referencing asking where I lived, not whether I'd take trades.

Certainly how I read it.
I'm back!!

I can read it.  It actually translates to, "Kill Whitey"
