Post your EDC stuff.
on: July 08, 2007, 12:42:13 AM
I did a quick search for our EDC thread...but we don't have one!  Some talking about how to carry, or what it's for...but no pictures :P  And we all know a picture is worth one thousand words.  I like EDC threads because you always get a new idea, or see a new item..

Here's my EDC.  Low cost but effective stuff that I can carry without a bag or big belt pouch, the only thing on my belt is the SOG...everything else is pocketable.

This is the lightest I go, and it's the only EDC picture I have on hand, I'll have to take one or two of my "normal" edc. Cool thread by the way. I always enjoy these as well...

We don't have an edc thread?  Weird!  I'm on my PDA right now but I'll get a pic and post it soon.

Cool, but I don't think it would hold up with my 8" adjustable wrench on it.

I have made just a few changes since these March 2007 snapshots. I replaced the rectangular whistle with another with rounded corners instead of sharp corners.   There are a few new LED flashlights, including a 2007 Inova T1 with reflector to supplement last year's T1 with the TIROS lens.

Yep, that's what it is.  I've got about 20 of them stashed around the house, and I usually have at least one with me.  They are by far my favorite pen :)

A few months ago a local talk radio guy was complaining that someone in the studio stole his Pilot G2...he went on for like 3 minutes about how great the pen was :o

That's one of my requirements for new tools now.  They have to fit in the X-tract sheath :)  I hope it works as good for you as it does for me

Wow, I hope you don;t go swimming anytime soon or you'll sink right to the bottom!

What kind of lighter is that?  Also, got any details on that watch?  Recently I have "rediscovered" Casios watches, mostly from the G Shocks, but I've always liked the databank watches too.

The lighter is a Ronson Jet light.  There really cheap at Walmart but it's well built and hasn't quit on me.  The same goes for the watch. It's a Data Bank memory 350. It has 50 world city times and plenty of memory for phone #s and other info.  I've worn it for years and it's pretty scratched up. Most of my info I keep on my cellphone so I don't put  that much on the watch unless it's for back up.

Yup- I think it's pretty sweet.  It is solid billet aluminum carved out on a lathe, the top was anodized and has some company's name on it.  I've been harassing someone at the company about cranking out some similar ones with Multitool.org on them, but so far I haven't gotten much of a response.

Anyone else interested in getting a Multitool.org pen like this one?

It looks like it takes a standard ball point refill- I will have to see if something can be done to accommodate a Fisher Space Pen cartridge.

Naw, in the US you have to carry a gun.  It's in the Constitution, and you never know when the King of England is going to jump out from behind a lamp post and start re-oppressing you!   :pok:
