Jokes aside I just think it'd be a cool extra tool in a SAK.  If any of you gents in the trade has any other obsure tool/keys or the like going spare I wouldn't say no :tu:

I'm always on the look out for sensible tools that can be added to SAKs.   i.e. stuff that people would actually use even if it was a bit speSmurfpillsed.

My own requirements are much more generic so its difficult to gain inspiration.  Stuff like this can act as muse :D

:pok: Radiator key? - seriously considered before, maybe one day
:pok: Triangular electricity/gas cupboard key? - have looked at but is too fat to fit ( I wanted to put it in place of the corkscrew)

I have to say that 'moding' these tools is a bit like fixing a wonky chair
First you cut a bit off one leg then......

It works but doesn't look great  ::)

So now the screws holding my Kick are in less than perfect condition  ::)
I want to replace them with something that is a bit easier to open (with a driver)
Any suggestions?

Sorry, what I meant was that I don't think anyone has ever come up with a way of replacing the standard fasteners with something else. its often asked, but I don't recall ever seeing an answer.

No I'm sorry! I did understand and rather than saying I will keep thinking about the problem
I just stuck the thinking emoticon up  :-[
I was hoping by asking the question someone would post a link that said this is what you need and this is where you can get them but I'm lazy like that!
It needs more

With a bit of messing around I got my new SOG Vcutter (Thanks Neil  :salute: ) to fit,
To be honest it needs a little tickle with a Dremel as it is not parallel to the handle,
I am still looking for a bit holder and some replacement screws but I like it so far  :D

Cool  8)  Keep in mind that the one I have sat in my son's PT-510 doesn't sit parallel either, but it works fine.  Just saying don't knock yourself out trying to get it so :)

What I need to do is find some new screws (and a bit holder)
I might do it when I get them together  ;)

I'd forgotten abut this thread, and have actually done this mod a few weeks ago!

I'm out and about at the moment, but here's a pic before I added the scissors:

It works very well for me and has become my EDC :)
