After some lengthy discussions with a good friend of mine, Bob Reichardt from www.Pockits.com I have decided to open a forum dedicated to sheaths and carry methods. So many tools nowadays are breaking with the traditional sheath that it seems like we should have a spot to discuss preferences for leather, cordura, nylon, pocket clips, carabiners, kydex, bags, straps, pouches and all manner of other carry methods!

I'd also like to congratulate Anthony for finally getting his name on a forum, despite having been a Moderator here for some time!

Doesn't matter! This is a great place to discuss aftermarket sheaths, issue sheaths, custom sheaths, homemade sheaths, MOLLE sheaths or how much you hate them all and prefer a lanyard and pocket clip!

Well they are a necessary evil with fixed blades, however, Gerber just came out with a new FB that has a sheath with a pocket clip.

I did my typical routine of clicking on each of the boards with new posts and went

when I only saw three threads. XD

I only have one sheath I use, aside from the Kiwi's slip sheath: my Victorinox Spirit's standard leather sheath is nice, though I wish it was a snap instead of velcro, and wish it would stop migrating around on my belt when I walk.

Pocket clips fall under the "carry methods" in the title so stick around.
