CT bit layer - four double-ended bits plus 4mm hex insert driver - nine functions. Ten if you include the bit holder itself.

In my defence I don't actually have a bit driver, I didn't realise you got 4 bits in it, for some reason I assumed it only had 3.
You're right, even I find them hard to justify. Most canned food these days comes with a pull off top so they're not even particularly handy at home let alone out on the trail. That said a couple of years back I was out camping with a few buddies, one of them did have some canned food with him for his evening meals. All was fine on the first night as the can was a pull top, not so the second when he realised that it was a traditional can and he had no opener, he had thought all of them were pull tops. Needless to say I had a SAK on me (Huntsman IIRC) so all was well, but that really is the only time I can think of that I unexpectedly needed a can opener. In the end though, much like the corkscrew, I much prefer to have a SAK with a can opener than one without. It's just one of these tools that a SAK should have.
Dunno how well that would work with soup
There's a Benner fan club?

You get my respect. What more do you want?
Ok, sign me up! We did agree there was free crap involved right? And no photos! I don't want a repeat of the famous "Nude Def in the Shower" post!
