After saying my last post, any thoughts on Silva lamps?
What batteries do they take And is it a clicky switch to turn them on?

I'm with nutsak on the Princeton Tec EOS. The specs on the site don't seem to be the same when I bought it. It says 70 lumens and when I got it, it was 50...idk what to tell you about that.
Still, EOS is a bit dim for cycling isn't it?
A 3AAA setup is actually more efficient than a 2AA one. I'll spare you the details as to why I suggest sticking to 3AAA and running Eneloops.I assume you're going to want something with a little throw, since you're cycling with it. I recommend the Princeton Tec EOS:http://princetontec.com/?q=node/118
The link I listed was for the newer EOS II version. It has a more efficient emitter and a better optic.

I've got this (through here actually) and works great for me. They have other models as well.http://princetontec.com/?q=node/60
Actually, I was incorrect about that. BOTH the EOS and EOS II have been upgraded to a Luxeon Rebel for better output than the original. The beams are both better than the original, IMO, with a better combination of spot and spill. It appears from this thread that the EOS has more of a flood pattern than the EOS II. The EOS II is only a two mode light though, and the EOS still retains 4 modes.

Oddly though, the one in the link shows 4 LEDs, but all the ones I can find for sale have only 3. I'm guessing they are different generations, but can I ask which one you have?

The one I saw in store has 4 LED as well.
Woop, my headlamp is awesome. It is a Petzl Tactikka XP adapt and I have had great fun playing with it today.
I'm working on it...
I wanna give it a good test first. Will try to get some pics up tomorrow.
Sure have http://www.petzl.com/en/outdoor/tactikka-series/tactikka-xp-adapt
