I have a Samsung Tocco Lite (s5230)(Image removed from quote.)In general I'm happy, wish there were more "widgets" to use with it and it was a bit more open ended.Iphones look great, but I end up wishing they were more open ended and had some of the features of the fake Iphones on the market like removable microSD cards, dual sims, etc.Google's Nexus one looks more like what I want, but still like the Iphone at a price I can't yet afford/justify yet. I refuse to pay more for a phone than I did for my computer!
funny thing, the jack (not 2.5mm, it's some flat proprietary thing) on the new phone is the same as my old one, however, the radio doesnt work with the old headphones even though they are Samsung as well, not that I actually listen to the radio...I suppose I could invest in some bluetooth in-ear headphones, but they're damn pricey. I think the stock headphones also work as handsfree. I've rarely seen anyone actually with free hands as they always tend to continue to hold either the phone in one hand or the mic closer to their mouth...

Stock headphones are stereo, tested with an mp3 that alternates speakers at the start of the song, using the adapter and my normal 3.5mm jack headphones it's mono (same on both headphones...)
it is "stereo" it's just that you don't hear the difference as any audio panning is non existent.
yeah I'm thinking something like an ipod shuffle might be a better alternative...
