It look's as though you've got the grind lines the same on both sides too :tu:


My new toy helps  ::)

I'm sitting here trying to decide if the blade looks too long for its width
Think I will start the handle and see what it looks like  :think:

Looking good Sparky  8) 8).
I went to my first car boot sale today & there was a lot of old chunky files for sale, I could not help but think of your project mate  :D :D.

What was your reason for bending the end of the file into a curl , was it tricky to curl :think:

I have a cunning plan that involves epoxy resin  ;)
(I heated it up with a blow lamp but it was still hard work)

I wanted the handle almost finished before I got the blade tempered
in case of little accidents  :think:
I have lots of spare wood so not a disaster and I still have the right amount of fingers  :tu:
