The SwissTool owners club

Let's hear about when and where you got your Swisstool and why you like it. and how about some shots of it and of it getting put to work?

I got mine off a member here in a trade. I'm hefting it around in a Surge leather sheath. >:D Fits rather well in it.

more shots later

I got mine off a guy that was an MT enthusiast in his younger days... From the sticky in I learned that it's a 1998 model.

All of the following shots are posted on the board before.. just reposting them again here. :D :D
Closed.

Open.

Tools out, with bit and ratchet kit.

Got it after I read the reviews here on the boards, and true enough, it lives up to my expectations of a quality tool. Nearly every implement I need to go about my daily miscellaneous chores could be found on it. The only complain I have is the lack of a pocket clip for it, and though its heft is reassuring (  >:D ) sometimes it's just far too heavy. But still.. for all the MTs I have now, this is probably the one closest to The Perfect MT, as least for me. :D

I had just joined this forum and found out that Victorinox had a few MT models. Who knew?  :D

Anyways, I found an online retailer and bought one of every model he sold. I was rather impressed with these. This was before I started into SAKs.

Some new photos.

And once again, Chako crushes competition with his colossal amount of tools. :D

I quite like that pile of SwissTools... as if they would just be casually out and laying about.
Wouldn't mind a few stray SwissTools in my house. :D

Great photographs as always Chako, but where's the BO Spirit? ???
And you call yourself a collector! :twak:

I only cruise eBay Canada. I know they have more choice in the US, but most of them are CONUS only, and it literally kills me to see something I want but can't have. So I relegate myself to the Canadian side of things. It is much easier on me. Therefore, I haven't seen a BO Spirit up for grabs yet. You can bet I will pounce on one when I see one up for sale.

I got mine off Neil a few months ago. It has the wrench and a leather case. It's the one I go for when I've a tough job to do.

Finally, a club I can be part of.  :)

Apart from being a great tool, the Swisstool I have was a gift from a generous member on here and was my first gift I ever got from this place.
I'm back!!

I noticed this club was not made by Chako  so I scrolled down in anticipation and sure enough that Chako bursts in and dominates with one of each model!

Anyway ::) Nice thread Pacu, I was waiting for one to pop up so it would throw me into getting one!

Long time owner (had one for over ten years) just recently traded it to Gadget Guy for a SwissGrip.

Did some more trading and now she is coming home never again to leave. :mail:

I was blinded baby please forgive me and I will never let you down again.

Got two of them. :) The first is a '98 head shiny ST-X I bought myself during a trip to Zurich circa '99-'00 and now lives at home. The other is a (iirc) '02 head BO ST I got from Dennis as part of a MT.o support auction, delegated to car duty.

I had a swisstool, but had to get rid of it. It was just too big for my little girly hands.
