 :iagree:  :hatsoff:

I guess it makes sense to have a battery acid resistant pokey thingy on your SAK

Or making electrical contact?

I'd like to see it in use as a corkscrew.

Resurrected this from nearly 10 years ago .... but in my defence I have been looking for one for a long time and now I have one I thought the thread should have a gold corkscrew .... not gold-ish :)
Woah! Very nice!

I gotta check if any of mine are like that... I've got a few but never knew there was a solid gold batch!

A few extra photos

First a nice certificate

Nice Woden box

The leather case does not match the scales but very nice leather

Special knife is on the right

On to the corkscrews the gold one is to the back you can see the bottom of the corkscrew is thicker in the gold one

Solid

Plated

Nice ........  but a very silly idea

Nice resurrection - funnily enough I have just been looking at these in the Wiki
Congrats on the acquisition - Especially after that long a wait

But I gotta say an 18k gold corkscrew - That's nuts - Beautiful! - Amazing! - Nice! .....  But nuts   :pok:    :D     :o    OK OK I am just jealous
Can we please borrow some pics for the Wiki?

This made me smile
That looks a bit Irish
Love the colour
True - The green is very Irish - But I think that is an Edelweiss not a shamrock !!   :D

The gold-plated vs solid gold differ by the words 'limited edition' etching.

So I can't convince one of you to pull a cork with one of those?  ;)  :D
I can't pull any corks as I get to stay sober for months to compensate me the spending on this couple )
