I want a Leatherman Squirt S4 TI

I think that would be awesome if they would make the little squirt in TI.

You'd never notice the weight of it and end up losing it because you don't know where it fell off at!

Seriously, I think that would be neat, but what I'd like to see is an all titanium multi.  Ti scales are kinda silly IMHO as they really don't do much more than drive up the price.  A tool made completely from titanium would at least be significantly lighter than a steel version of itself, be stronger, corrosion resistant and non magnetic for when you aren't certain whether to cut the blue wire or the red one.

Yeah, all Ti would be great. From the day I got the Charge ALX from you I started missing my Ti one.

I am trying to decide on buying the Ti like I had or the TTi now.

I have an XTi and an ALX and to be honest, I really don't see the difference except price, and I feel slightly more "tactical ninja-ish" with the titanium.

Did you notice a difference or are you just missing the black pajamas?

 ;D

Isn't that just the molding of the Ti?  Not to be argumentative, but if someone cast aluminum (or steel or sterling silver) handle scales in the same mold the titanium scales were in, do you think you'd be able to tell the difference?  I guess what I am asking is, do you really like the style of it or the metal?

I guess it is the style more then anything, but I like the feel of that style. Does not seem to be as slick feeling. Often time I am using my multitool with wet, greasy, oily dirty hands.

Maybe I am just trying to justify buying another model charge..

I wonder how the camo one feels, lol....

That's ok, once in a while I like the "feel" of a black balaclava and tabi socks too...  :pok:

well, yes, I suppose there is an attraction of the titanium slabs on the handles just because it is titanium, we would prefer all ti handles, but part ti handles is better than none, since the titanium that is present is 'better' than steel for the purpose it is being used. Kind of like TiNi coating on SOG tools.

And yes, I like the 'feel' of my camo ti handled, black oxide implements LM Charge TTi a great deal  ;D

I am still considering buying a charge Ti.  I like the feel of it.  I dont know about the ninja stuff but the Charge seems to be better put together than some of the other Leatherman tools.  Ninjas dont carry mltitools anyway, right. :)

That's because Ninja's ARE multitools...

i had a look at the squirts yesterday and they are pretty small
and they look a bit flimsy and look like they would break
how tough are they

Tougher than your average keychain tools.  :D Definately breakable, and you need to stay within the tools limits, but I really like them for what they are. Good waranties give a little peace of mind as well.
