Today, the post office had a lovely pink package from the Bee man.

Inside, was ANOTHER pink package...

Ah...
But here's where it starts to get good.

So.
Neil sent me this EXTREMELY cool Alox SAK. Awesome looking old scales.

For Mike LotS, it appears this is one of the ever awesome Farmers. Nice!

Ok... So it's an Electrician Plus with Red Alox scales. That's pretty unusual!

Actually, Neil graciously put on the old scales when I starting whinging and wringing my hands. Sorta like this:

I mean, I wanted something sorta unique, you know?

I don't really what to call this, but it is AWESOME. Thank you Neil!

Oh, and yeah, it has brass liners too.

These are a few shots comparing it to its relatives.

From left to right: Blue Farmer, Electrician Plus, Old Red Pioneer, ?Battle Surgeon? (Soldier with Scissors), Latest and greatest Alox knife Ev4R

This last one has the distinguishing tools fanned out.

Neil, this is absolutely beautiful. It has excellent snap and aesthetically, it is simply stunning. I believe I can honestly say, I am totally "chuffed".

That is a really great pocket knife... of course any Aplox with scissors is.

I wonder if that backspring would allow the small-pruner to replace the Cap-Lifter... that would make it such a great knife for me to combo with others.

I'm not sure, but I think one of the Brits may have to start a proper poll for the naming of this tool.

I've sort of settled on Alox Bee-lectrician. But again, perhaps a poll should settle this...

That's a pretty good name; has the electrical covered, but also has the implied 'heavy duty' nature of this particular tool. take the knife and a set of lineman's pliers and your all set.
