No, not really. That seller routinely places a few up for sale about once a month. Probably has a large stash of stock left over when they sold at a brick and mortar store.

I think these are fake stag, but I understand there is a genuine stag model that is fairly rare.

Yes, they are fake stag.  It's a great knife!  They're better with the serrated gutting blade, IMO.
