NcSTAR Combo Tool

Another variation on the quest for the perfect AR15/M16 multitool...... (I'll save everyone the suspense right now: This one ain't it)

To begin with, its a complete brick. You thought the Vic SportRatchet was a block to carry? This NcSTAR tool puts it to shame. It has the ergonomics of a school bus (and it weighs nearly as much)

It does come with a nice flexible rope for attaching a bore cleaning brush to. And a big black sheath the size of a pillow case for carrying.



Build quality of the entire tool is pretty shoddy though.









The implements are especially crude. For the record though, they include a bolt carrier carbon scraper device, along with front sight post adjustment tools for the A1 and A2 models in one handle.....



...and a rear sight adjustment spanner, a pin punches, bore brush, large screwdriver, and a broken shell extractor device in the other handle.








I cannot imagine any soldier in the field carrying this brute, nor could I imagine a proud gunner on the firing lines wanting his buddies to see him toting this thing around.

Nope, I picked this one up in a trade. The poor fellow I got it from (not a member here btw) felt so bad about the quality that he kept apologizing to me!
