I'd be real leery about using them in any of my stuff.  If its all I had and my life depended on it then I would, but I doubt those are protected cells, seems like they would short easily.

I'd be willing to believe some of them have 14500 (AA) batteries in them.  Some 9V batteries are a series of AAAA cells inside, some aren't.  Who is to say that all brands of 6V batteries are built the same way?

Right.  Note I didn't say I believe it, but I would be willing to if I didn't know better.

Well I have to say you would have to be pretty dingy to try and take the battery apart. So the person who "melted their hands" must be put on the WTF list. :rofl:
