Wenger 65mm
on: April 13, 2010, 03:18:17 PM
I got some 65mm Wenger's recently and really like them, for me they are much more usable than the 58mm Vics

and the blade is quite a bit bigger than the 58mm making them a bit more usable.

The 74mm Vics seem the same way, when one compares them to the 58mm.  The blade is a substantial increase, but the overall package does not seem that much bigger.  I've not spent enough quality time with my smaller Wenger knives, I'll have to do that, I just have a couple.

meanx, that bottlemate photo would be a great addition to the SAKWicki. The Bottlemate listing does not have a photo.

Ditto :-\

I do agree that the small blade size increase from the 58mm Vics. is just enough to make them a much more usable knife.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

And again, just not a fan of Wenger scissors.  That bottle mate looks a good bit of kit though.  :tu:

Does anyone have more detail about the Bottle Mate as I can't find anything on them, not even in any of the catalogs.I found 3 brand new ones in their boxes at a clearance sale and took all three, but would like to know when they were made more or less.

THough it doesn't have the bottle opener, go for the "clipper" model.  It's about the same size
