Care and maintenance tips
on: July 28, 2007, 04:33:24 PM
I'm starting a new thread for all of you,and me to share your tips and ideas on the proper care and feeding of your ride.Feel free to post the things you find you do to make your ride pleasant and enjoyable.
One thing I do,is after every ride,is to give the bike a good wipe down with a dry cloth, then a silicone treated cloth.I'm a fan of vintage steel bikes, they're sweet rides, and I give them TLC.

Not a tip as such, but i do find if you clean your bike fairly regularly your in a better position to see and correct and faults :)

For example passing a sponge over a bolt and feeling it's loose.
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!
