Congrats on the deal man. I love the CX, it was my EDC for a while, until I got my SURGE!, and is now my EDC again since I lost my SURGE!. The blade is easy to find and get to, sharp, holds an edge forever and cleans easily. And I have not had the screwdriver use to cause the blade to open... that sounds strange, as my hand holds the blade in...

Under normal twisting IE just tightening a screw, you're right, your hand DOES hold the blade in.  But when you are screwing in a long screw fast, or putting in a really tough one, your thumb tends to hit the "spider hole" as it were, causing the blade to come open.  It never does it when I am loosening a screw, just tightening.  It may just be that I have a weird grip, I don't know.   :P

Ahh I see what you are saying there. But my thumb usually stays in the finger notch just below the blade when closed, maybe my grip is weird. I have driven a lot of long screws, and never had an issue though.
"I would rather live 40 years of excitement and fun and exhilarating and just WOOOO, full volume, then 80 years of la di di di da... you know... boring. Why not get out there and live it?!"

I really think it is my grip, but I sure wish I could use it without the worry of it coming open, because it is one of the coolest tools anyone has come up with.

As it happens I did it last night
Normally with Araldite (epoxy glue) it doesn't go off quick enough  ::)
This time it was going hard before I was ready  >:(
This is what I ended up with...

Yep a Syringe that I will never loose in the dark  :salute:

 :D

It went off in about 30 seconds (that's what it felt like)
If you look very closely in my pic you can almost see six glow in the dark spots
It was not a great success but it does work
I am a bit disappointed how long the glow lasts for, if you hold it under a bright light for a minute then it looks great, but not for very long so its not worth doing for a practical mod but OK to show off to your mates  :-\

Zeno, how are you liking your new Skeletool?  :tu:
