I differ just slightly in the fact that I think LA Ink is bloody awful!    Miami Ink was pretty good and although a little staged, was worth a watch.  LA ink is just ridiculous.  I'm guessing 90% of the show is staged BS and it is such a shame as if they cut all that crap out and just focussed on the tattoos themselves it wold be great.

Having said all that I do occasionally watch an episode and generally drift off when all the acting starts.  The tattoo's are superb.  I am currently watching Lonon ink which is pretty cool.

i watched 2 episodes of london ink and switched off, couldnt stand it, the boss guy i found irritating,i agree on miami ink benner i prefer that , although i liked it when miss von d was on it  and ryan i guess it was growing up with bonny tyler that gave me this love for husky voices

I agree.  In fact I'd say all of the artists in London ink piss me off.  Seems more genuine though and doesn't have much made up or staged stuff which I like.  Plus, it's a bonus to actually know some of the people they work on!

yeah less staged, but yes annoying,  my mate from london wanted a tattoo done and went to there studio, i dont think any of them was there  im sure he  said they was on some convention or something,
