Sorry it's taken me so long to respond - I've been "trapped" in the wilds of america having a dreadful wonderful time being spoilt rotten, shooting stuff, hiking, geocaching and relaxing to within an inch of reality. Someone was even kind enough to explode a volcano for me so I could have an extra weeks holiday. Terribly kind of them - come clean, it was you guys wasn't it?

As for sharp and shiny things...I didn't get presents this year...I had a holiday instead. I did get myself some lovely shiny new knitting needles though, do they count?  >:D

In fact, we spent most of M'ladys birthday hiking the Linville Gorge.

Stunning... I highly recommend it for anyone who is passing through North Carolina :)

I knew the pictures were for Dunc but I looked at them as well, I'm sorry  :D

Anyhow, very nice pictures I love to have some mountains in our flat country as well.
