Thanks guys, I really do like the watch, though I have to say it feels odd after so many years without wearing one  ;)

Lovely watch

If you don't like the rubber strap on it like I didn't on mine, check out the jays and kays store on evil bay, they make nato strap adapters and straps for G shocks.  The only problem is it costs as much to buy them as they do to ship unless you're in the US.

Give it a couple weeks and you'll feel weird without it and won't be able to leave the house without it on your wrist. Haha

I would wholeheartedly recommend a AWGM100B-1ACR to anybody. This beauty is simple in construction, but looks really cool, without breaking the bank. Some people complain about the hard-to-read day and date with the negative LCD, but how often do you need to know the dates? Picture is of it with me on the shinkansen heading to Osaka, Japan.

What's your wrist size? This one is beautiful.

My first G Shock arrived yesterday. It went straight on the windowsill for charging and calibrating, and I set all the settings how I want them this morning.

It's been on my wrist all day today, and while a little bulkier than I'm used to, it has been very comfortable. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out for me long term.  :tu:

Got myself a new G-Shock last week, at first I wanted to buy myself a Tough Movement G-Shock (the analog models), but after doing a lot of research (and lurking on the watchuseek forum) I ended up buying a digital G-Shock, since I believe tough digital watches are still Casio's A game.

And the price on the Tough Movement G-Shock's is just  :ahhh.  For one analog G-Shock with the same gimmicks as my new digital watch, you can get two of the digital versions, and still have some money to spare ...  That's just insane in my opinion.

Anyway, here it is, my own junglecat ...

Yes, it's a Casio GW-9400-3ER Rangeman, and I'm liking it very much ...  :D

Thanks guys  :salute:.

At first I was a bit dissapointed by the readability of the reverse LCD display on this G-Shock.  Okay, I've read that it wasn't really great indoors in low light conditions, but I assumed they were exaggerating, since they said the same about the Casio PRW1300Y, and I think that one is very easy to read, even though it also has a reverse LCD display.  But this one is indeed not easy to read in the wrong conditions, but once you take it outdoors, the problem is gone (in my opinion), and when it gets too dark, it's a solar powered G-Shock with a nice LED light that has an auto mode where you only have to turn your wrist to turn on the LED light, so who cares right  ;).

And the combination of green case and reverse LCD display does look very sweet in real life ...  8)

Caught my G-shock the other day at work. Apart from it hurting like a smurf it also damaged the jays and kays nato strap adapter on one side. I'm surprised it didn't rip it out completely rather than causing a tear in the plastic of the adapter where the strap goes through.  It's still holding the strap ok but not a lot of meat left on that bit so new adapter ordered to replace it.

Not a mark on the G though, this G9300 Mudman is an awesome watch  :tu:
