I dropped my CT lite and badly chipped the scales.

now, what better than upgrading?


I'm willing to buy some well-equipped scales (lasers? stayglow?) without losing pen, toothpick, tweezers and pin.

any suggestion? or are 91mm translucent the only option?

Stayglow is only available without pen slot and inbuilt lasers are only available in your dreams

Red, White, Black, Blue, Sapphire, Ruby are available with the pen slot

I've never handled stayglows... are pen slot engravable without much damage?
Is the back of the scale flat?

(obviously the chip is on the pen side, you know)




uhmmm.... black 91mm plus scales are my second choice, now

It is possible to cut a pen slot in the stayglows and Tom (Rotokid) has managed it in the past.  It is not easy though.  It is however very easy to mess up

You don't want to know the price of stayglows 

I have some and so does Tom.  They are not available as factory fresh so all stayglow scales out there are pulls from new factory knives

I'm no fan of the Onyx so the black wins IMO.

Some like Onyx.... most don't. Its a personal call

You just can't go wrong with plain old black plus scales.    The blue and green are quite nice too.
