Ballistic Nylon

Does anyone know anywhere that I can get 1000 denier ballistic nylon (the same stuff Maxpedition bags are made from). I'm thinking of making my own bag, to save money, but can't find anywhere to get the material!

I'm on the same boat   I can't seem to find a workbag that has everything I need and nothing I don't so I figured I'd make one. The only thing stopping me is having a half-finished multiday pack
