Battery extenders!
on: May 17, 2010, 08:46:10 PM
I've been searching some light extenders and I'm there's a lot of alpha-numeric codes as to what they fit

I'm still new to lights so can anyone help break down the different extenders, what they do, and what they fit?
I guess we can start with Lumapower's-

M-65 allows two 18650 Li-Ions to power MRV model.

D-65 allows use of one 18650 Li-Ion to power D-Mini model.

Is there a limit to how many you can put on?

And what other extenders exist for other brands?

You can only use one extender per light, otherwise you would exceed the maximum voltage spec for the electronics.  I'll have to think about others available...

thanks for info :tu:

I also was wondering about the runtimes of the Olight M30 triton.  It comes with a battery extender in the box so I was curious if the runtimes they listed are with the extender on
