on: May 20, 2010, 02:28:49 PM
Saw this today while browsing Sharp Edge http://www.sharpedge.co.za/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=1053&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=4

think it will be available soon, looks real nice,it comes in the Classic,Waiter,Tinker(pic) and Climber.

Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time

Hi

 :D :D

I was not holding back info, they are most likely very new :)
I got mine from the importer here a knife that was just a test and not for production... gladly they are given the chance anyway..
P.S my knife is one of the 125 anniversary test classic.

this is the first time I see 125y A Waiter and Tinker.
I bought for myself the Climber 125y Anniversary. But it is sleeping Queen – because of these scales.
I would like to ask:

Does anybody EDC these 125y Anniversary scales? If yes, is it easy to wear it down? Any picture of EDCed knife with 125y Anniversary scales?

I don't think of these as 125Y scales, since those are red and gold.  ...but yes other than the color I presume they are the same.  Does Vic consider these alternate color 125Y scales?

I've carried only breifly 125Y scales, and my Cybertools are in cases so that's not a good test.  I did pick up a few extra 58mm 125Y knives to do scale swaps for some ugly advertising scales on things like the Rambler Plus or beat-up vagabond knives.  If I carry something I'm generally not too worried if the scales get some wear on them, but I'd like to see how the 125Y scales wear though just for fun.

Thats a nice one to have, if its got the 125 logo on the blade even more so,can't be a lot of them around.

Hi

No mine do not have the 125 logo on the blade and
it could be the picture or other but it looks like the scale emblem is in the other direction aswell..

Nice! thanks for the addtional photo (that would be "sheath", although that style would often just be called a 'slip-case').

I got the Tinker Small, personally I think this looks better than the 125y red and gold ones.
