As I sit here and fantasize about what my perfect 91mm SAK would be, I realize that one thing that I really miss when I edc a victorinox is blades with other shapes. I really like their spear-point blade, but not for everything.
So, here's some of the other blade shapes that I've found. Let me know if I'm missing something important.
First of all, there's the large sheepsfoot blade that comes with the gardener:
The wiki says this is a 100mm knife, so I don't know how possible it would be to put it into a 91mm.
Then there's the small sheepsfoot blade in the elctrician:
Ignoring the pruning blade (which I'm not interested in) and blades only found in older knives, that's pretty much it for blades that are currently
Here's Spork's
whittler 2:
It looks to me that this small sheepsfoot blade is made from grinding down a normal small blade. That's quite doable for me.
Next, here's Spork's
fat-butted
whittler:
It looks to me that here we have a large spear-point blade ground down to a sheepsfoot, a standard small spearpoint, and a clip-point/angle blade from an old vic. The sheepsfoot is doable. How hard/expensive would it be to get my hands on an old knife with an angle blade?
Next, here's Spork's
Doublesport:
This looks like a standard large spaer-point blade has been drastically ground down into a large clip-point blade, and then a new nail nick was added with a dremel tool cutting disc.
Then there's a really bizarre blade in the green knife in
this picture:
I can't tell what this blade was made from, or what it would be used for.
What other options are there? Am I missing a blade type?
Has anybody put a non-SAK blade into a 91mm victorinox?
