Multi purpose hook

Multi purpose hook

Hi every just been given a Swiss deluxe tinker and can account for the use of most of the tools apart from the aforemention multi purpose hook.  ??? Can anyone give me examples of what it is used for thanks :D

Pulling laces, lifting packages secured with string/plastic, and best of all as an implement of nasal torture :D

Handy to use as an emergency coathanger in washrooms where such fixtures have been torn out , good for retieving items dropped into annoying places . Think human finger substitute .

Hooks do little harm , and can be very usefull .

I've never used it in all the years I've carried a climber. But the bike chain application is really sensible.

Under the hook it is possible to hide pin (if you have older scales).
I hide there a piece of teeth-thread just for case that toothpick would be not sufficient enough.
