Too much heavy metal  :D my bag broke  :ahhh I had to buy the blue bag just to carry it all home  ::)

Mainly
A little penknife with ERN on the main blade
Multimaster by KUTMASTER USA  :o  :o  :o
and what I'm hoping is something like a 'Navy knife'? I cant even open the blade yet

My new blue bag disintegrated in the washing machine this afternoon during a hot wash

I paid more than I wanted to for the billhook / slasher but it was made by Elwel so I'm happy now  :)

The folding knife once cleaned of putty is a 1971 Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Post Office cable jointer's knife
This thing is huge  :o the handle is 5” long, the cable jointer would 'baton' the knife through the lead sheath of the cable (I had to remove a little burr from the back of this one) an indestructible folding knife  :D

A bit more about them in this thread

Interesting to see they used almost the same style knife with only slight variations for four decades. The earliest from that thread being '36. Looks like a great solid knife. :tu:

I think its only happened once or twice before Bob, (its too early to look back)

Its a Multimaster (I was surprised that its made in the USA) Comes with screwdriver bits that fit in the end of 'square ' handle and its nice and sharp
Needs a drop of oil and a clean  ;)

Today's finds. Apparently they belonged to his FIL.  I am going to guess he was in the army in 1944.  Both are in very good/ excellent condition. Now if only I could remember who was asking for an egg beater drill last time we had a meet.

Just noticed this. :-[  I picked up an eggbeater drill at the last meet, is that what you are thinking of?  It's see quite a bit of use as well. 8)

Ah yes, I recall that one too now that you mention it. :salute:

The Multimaster is a decent enough tool Tony, although the design is a tad dated. Best thing about it (especially in the case of yours there with a bit of rust) is that the whole things comes apart rather easily. :)

Most importantly...

(at the top an empty sheath)

A very dirty and over sharpened 111mm Picnicker with a slightly damaged can opener  ::)

And what I think is a huntsman plus, survival set/traveler set in very good condition (I paid far too much money for this   :-[ )

I missed out (just) on a toolbox (red metal with draws) totally Gutted  :( the wife wandered off at the wrong moment , with her purse FFS ! By the time I found her and got back to the stall the seller had let it go FOR TEN QUID !
Me and the wife weren't talking after that ! I was sulking, but she's been on E-bay and won a maxpedition bag for me this afternoon so all is forgiven  :D
(I'm a bit worried , she is being rather nice lately  ::))

Next time take the Girl Friend that should teach the missus to pay attention

Shame about the draws Mate  :salute:
I missed out on an Army kitbag by seconds this morning and there were a nice pair of working boots on another stall but she wouldn't sell them until her husband came back  ::)

And my GF who normally only says 'That's nice dear' really likes my new huntsman and kit, so you can guess where that will end up after I've cleaned and sharpened it

What's the tang stamp on the SAK? left of the slippie with the broken tip?

Also, food is overrated. If yu had enough money to buy a few beers, you're good.

Enki,

The 'SAK' has AMEFA on the tang and KLU 65 on the scales so I googled it and found...

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php?topic=18395.15

Dutch Air Force knife
Amefa is the abbreviation of "Apeldoornse Messen Fabriek", or "Apeldoorn Knife Factory" in English (Kwakster  :salute: )

Its kinda sad when a bloke has to buy his own 'worlds greatest Dad/Sparky/Lover'  Mug  :-[
More leather gloves, socks and some pickled onions
Two army kit bags (only wanted one but the guy really really wanted to get rid of them   :) )
Another block plane, Stanley screwdriver, Another footprint wood chisel, pair of genuine 'Mole' grips and a pair of 'Record' stilsons
3 Hammer handles, two are stamped Brades, I might have to put a Brades hammer handle on a Brades Ax head
3 rasps (one for sharpening horses   ;) )
A pair of very small antlers/horns

And two very odd penknives

Silver coloured one made by R MATHER &  SON SHEFFIELD
With W H Holmes & sons ltd Newcastle on tyne & London on the side,
The large blade looks like an artists pallet knife (maybe its a blade for peanut butter?)

One that is much like a 'Richards' knife but with 'Foreign'  on the blade (German?)
Normal looking penknife but with a glass cutting wheel   :o
