I’ve started on the draws

Buffed the handles to remove the finish back to the brass, brushed on linseed oil/white sprit
Top two done  ;)

That’s half of them done  :tu:

I’ve been spelling Drawers wrong :-[

Today...
A nice old empty oil can, a couple of hand vices, one hand made
Set of short pattern metric wrenches (Kamasa  )

And a flower pot, (Valentines day, who says I’m not romantic)  ;)

Two more hand vises? :tu:

What's the count on those these days?

One of them doesn't count as its hand made, so I probably have two now

The 6”adjustable was made in W Germany
The square by Moore & Wmont, Sheffield England,
The punch by THE LS, STARRETT Co, ATHOL, MASS USA (Bob  :tu: )

And the oil can cleaned up great,
by Raleigh Industries with bike oiling instructions on the back  :tu:

Not sure if I can free the adjustable yet Boaz  but all were a great price  :tu:

Picked up this tiny little Wenger with Crossair scales

Also visited a really great toolshop in High Wycombe for some bits and came away with this tiny axe handle, security tape on the handle that reads ‘handle with care’  :D

Great tool shop that’s worth a visit if you are passing https://www.isaaclord.co.uk/  :tu:

Remember this?

I was given some rust over the weekend

I was asked if I could fix up this cast iron Victorian fireplace insert for someone and I said yes

Had some time on my hands today...

That’s better

Only took me one year and a couple of months  :-[

Is it the colour that fireplace use to be?

Is there a bath restoration project in your near future? Or maybe a divorce?

Fantastic job btw. Is it destined for your house, or will you move it on?
