Those small adjustables are always neat finds. That one needs a good vinegar bath. Are those oil filters?

I'm doing less vinegar nowadays, Wire wheel then oil  ;)
Ah now you mention it they do look like oil filters, no they are Gaz cartridges, a lot of people won't buy older rusty looking canisters

Interesting,

Crescent, it is a little stiff, but it was everything I could stuff in the box in the back of the photo for $20 so even though I already have 5 that size I threw it in.

A bit off-topic... but I just read this and it reminded me of you guys in this thread: https://paulsellers.com/2017/07/disseminating-the-anonymous-british-masters/?pk_campaign=feed&pk_kwd=disseminating-the-anonymous-british-masters&__s=saoemdfybqgsdysc5ths

Picked up a few bits this morning

Hammer handle, a broken mortise chisel,  an 'auger' for a hand brace (I wonder if I still have a brace somewhere?) small sharpening stone
And the knife at the bottom is a Victorinox  :D

The chisel cleaned up well, (but a bit short for mortises) it's a
Marples & Sons 8mm 5/16ths  mortise chisel
Not sure if I've done the angle right or even if it is supposed to have a secondary bevel  but it's probably good enough to open a paint tin

The Clemac combination tool, does the cutting blade open up easy on yours? mine stops half way and i see no way of opening it without removing the screw, resetting blade then replacing screw, unless theres some knack of doing it?
