I just found out one of the other little finds a insulated carrier for a 9” x 13" serving tray, which was brand new is selling on eBay for up to $60!

Neat little setup, make whatever your making whether hot or cold, put it into the case and it keeps it hot or cold! Hey only $2 wish they had the matching pie one! This isn’t the one we got but one to to give you an idea.

No, it’s not that two in one, it’s an actual ball peen, there’s no name on it but I like the balance of it.

Probably, I was just looking and found the identical hammer in two spots, one sold for $14 and another selling for $16, just no info as for manufacture,

Got a few bits today, a Somax 250 Saw Tooth Setter $2, some Australian made 24oz ball peen hammer $2, and a Sater Banko Sweden 3/4 axe for $15 (does need a new handle) which did have a nifty little hand made wooden sheath. The guy I got the axe from had some other heads, but they looked like they'd seen some fire. When I mentioned it to the guy he admitted he'd burnt the old broken handles out in the coals , to which I told him it could lose the temper. I didn't buy those, they also had no brand marks I could see anyway.

Not a find, well sorta, I knew I had it but dug it out, the little guy saw one of my larger knives and his eyes lit up, just a little too big! But I remembered I had this somewhere, it was my grandfathers old Boy Scouts knife, and well, the little guy joined the Boy Scouts, on top of that I don’t use it, so what better then to give it to him? Just needs a very good clean up!
I told him it was a Boy Scouts knife but he wasn’t to thrilled, that was until he saw the logo stamped into the blade and it says Boy Scouts, then he was like WOW!

A 24 ounce ball pein will definitely help you put a dent in something. Good finds!

I went to an estate sale over the weekend.  All the tools were marked at full retail or higher.    I left empty handed.

I didn't know anything about Sater axes, but found out they made them for over 70 years, from 1894 - 1966. This 2.5lb axe I'm guessing somewhere in the post war period 50s or 60s

Nice haul, Tony. I like the scissors.  :tu:

What's the knife with the inline awl/punch?

The scissors have been messed about with, badly sharpened, the screw had been piened over and one of the handles is a bit bent,
fixable I think  :tu:

(Image removed from quote.)

ps the scissors are stamped  KUMFI-CUT LUXURY and HOT FORGED SHEFFIELD  :salute:

I had to grind a lot off the 'cutting face' on both blades, lost the serrations that were on the far blade
One side done

After a lot of adjustment I'm very happy with them  :tu:
