Nice haul, Tony. I like the scissors.  :tu:

What's the knife with the inline awl/punch?

The scissors have been messed about with, badly sharpened, the screw had been piened over and one of the handles is a bit bent,
fixable I think  :tu:

(Image removed from quote.)

ps the scissors are stamped  KUMFI-CUT LUXURY and HOT FORGED SHEFFIELD  :salute:

I had to grind a lot off the 'cutting face' on both blades, lost the serrations that were on the far blade
One side done
(Image removed from quote.)

After a lot of adjustment I'm very happy with them  :tu:
(Image removed from quote.)

Great job on those Tony!!!       :tu:       :like:
What? Enablers! Are you serrrrious? Where? I dont see any.

Not a find, well sorta, I knew I had it but dug it out, the little guy saw one of my larger knives and his eyes lit up, just a little too big! But I remembered I had this somewhere, it was my grandfathers old Boy Scouts knife, and well, the little guy joined the Boy Scouts, on top of that I don’t use it, so what better then to give it to him? Just needs a very good clean up!
I told him it was a Boy Scouts knife but he wasn’t to thrilled, that was until he saw the logo stamped into the blade and it says Boy Scouts, then he was like WOW!
JR
:like: Nice knife. It's great your able to pass it on. Should clean up nicely, for another generation of use. :tu:

It should, I hope,, I must say he’s been after me to get going on cleaning it up every day since I showed him that knife, of course I’d probably be doing the same if I saw that knife..

Not a market, but a buy and sell in Hobart that I walked past on the weekend.

I say walked past, because it was closed, otherwise I'd have been in there emptying my wallet

So many old tools, its like a candy store. For some folks here it would be like a wet dream

No doubt you'd get them cheaper at garage sales, markets etc, but there could be good deals still in there, and you don't have to go as far to hunt for them. Having said that, there's a thrill in the hunt and finding great stuff at bargain prices
