Absolutely beautiful day here so I got up early and set off for the bootie
Promised myself I wouldn't buy anything I didn't need   :salute: :salute: :salute:
Got some useful tools and a very cheap multitool  :tu:

Yep nothing there that I can't find a use for  :2tu:

Bought a snap-on petrol can, I'm hoping I can save the label

The Footprint and the Bahco adjustable wrench are always great items to find.  The  pruning multi tool is one I rarely see. And I've been looking.   The Snapon gas can even in that shape would probably bring a pretty penny on this side of the pond.  :tu: :salute:

Definitely post a pic when it emerges from its bath.   Any marks on the Ratchet?

I've had a closer look at the petrol can, it was made in England with an added snap on sticker  :(

These have cleaned up nicely and now work well  :tu:

You should take the ratchet a part and clean it.  Japanese, probably very good tool. Expected the pruners to be low quality, still want one.

I saw a garden pruner multitool at the big box store the other weekend. I think they were only about AU$15.00 or so, so they must be around. Brand Saxon - Multi-function Bypass Pruner

Can't find them in Aus online store but this is from NZ Bunnings Warehouse

What are your issues with the Vista? Not having one I am interested in hearing about its shortcomings. I have a Hybrid. I like it a lot, but I don't use it everyday.

I'm surprised I managed to open the ratchet without problems
Not too bad inside but a few damaged teeth on one side of the 'cam' (?)
All cleaned, oiled and back together now
