The grease gun is made by tecalemit
interesting article below
http://ariel-square-four.blogspot.com/2018/02/tecalemit-grease-guns.html

There is a sort-of-similar-looking grease gun made for lubricating the nose sprocket on some chainsaw bars, but it isn't designed to work with any kind of grease nipples.

Nice job on the knife. :salute:

Too bad about the grease gun.  What type of cleaner/oil did you use on the knife?

To clean the wood?
Washed it in the kitchen sink with cream cleaner (the kind with scratchy particles) I lightly sanded it then soaked it over night in linseed oil
Then a day later I oiled both the handle and blade with mineral oil  :tu:

Recent acquisition.  Not pictured is a B&D recarchable screwdriver.  Looks to be dead, but the rest is what I bought it for so not disappointed. Stanley 41Y drill with 4 bits in the handle.  Stanley wood chiselstill very sharp.  Fuller 8 inch adjustable, made in Japan.  The needle nosed pliers are from West Germany.  The 10 inch adjustable is some off brand.  The hex bit set has the owner name etched on each piece.  It was made in Japan. Looks like a great user set.

We have a couple Fuller Japan tools around the farm (mostly pliers and cutters); and they seem to be pretty good quality.

Great score on the Yankee. Any bits with it?

Yes, 4 bits with it.  I found out Garret Wade carries replacement bits.  Little pricey, but considered to be great quality.

Felt good yesterday went the flea market found an old carpet knife AKA carrot knife with the tip badly rounded off scraped off the rust and sharpened it up. Also found a Craftsman mini  utility knife and a Gerber utility knife.

Thank you, They are old school but they cut carpet good and are great for trimming down walls when freehanding soft goods. They used to make a straight blade knife like it to cut pad we called them banana knives. I haven't seen one in years.  Nowadays they use a  razor knife for everything.

I'd like to see more about that sharpening stone holder.

I got that same Craftsman (and a bigger one; that looks the same; guess both were sold as a set) in a knife lot. Really interesting design. Only draw back is that they lock shut, not opened. I'm thinking about taking them apart and adding an extra stop, so that just enough of the blade sticks out to open packaging. I really like a hawkbill, and am looking at seeing how those fixed carpet knives perform.

That's the first blue Gerber Edge I have seen. Mine's black, those at Walmart are orange.

Cody, The stone is a Norton stone for flooring knives you can buy them at a flooring supply online or if you look it up there will be one near you. They will also sell the stone holder. If buy one be sure put a penny between the screw and the stone. https://www.tools4flooring.com/carpet-tools.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwza_mBRBTEiwASDWVvqv0NgxpxjcPSPIIFvlwEt3YqzkQVyMSgCaG52jql_gRiu2hY2rRtRoC1oAQAvD_BwE

The Craftsmen knife I bought was all dirty and gummed up with good cleaning and oiling I got it working smooth as glass. I don't know it you know it or not but there is lock on the rear of the knife that keeps the blade from coming out.

Hook blade carpet knives work good but you have to sharpen them more often on modern carpet. Carpet now of days mostly has a plastic backing whereas it used to a jute backing and latex that did not have fillers that were a lot easier on the blades.

I bought the blue Gerber knife for two dollars had to give it a good cleaning I also have one in black and orange. I have been carrying them a lot lately. They are nice and light and feel good in my hand.

Ok, I'll try, the tool box is just too good (Craftsman?) and the machete is fantastic, but the Barlow collection has me intrigued.  Looks like a couple with Tiger Eye Oak?  Also the cream colored pruner, saw combo is neat.  Any identifying marks on it?

Bottom left CK Electricians knife (I think they are still making these)
Top left the tourist version of the BAK
The next two are Sheffield made cheapies with hollow tin scales (one made by Richards)
Number three along the top is I think German needs a lot of re-work
Below that is the white one, missing a scale on this side and also needs a rebuild
