Six pound, single bit axe? Nice! Tha ceartainly evens out the average axe haul.  The telescopic fork may be for campfire cooking marshmallows and frankfurters.

The thing top middle is a Tormek SVD-186 Gouge Jig  ;)
To the left next to the hinges is an Eclipse 44 multiple tool
And in the middle is 'The Ding Dong Junior Saw Frame'     :D

Likin that adjustable wrench in the lower right hand corner.   :tu:

The fork thingy is telescopic  :D
And to make up for last week the Axe is a 6lb er
(Image removed from quote.)

I have a set of those circlip pliers, Tony. There should be a spring to help keep the pin in place

I will take a closer look Thanks Rob  :salute:
I do have another set with no pin but is still useable (I didn't know what was supposed to be in there)

Thanks it looks like a good one, my whole haul cost 10pounds (three different sellers) inc that axe so I couldn't leave it there
The fork might get a magnet stuck to the end  ;)  :D

Spring on the pin, then insert the pin in the pliers with the chosen head, turn the bit at the end 90 degrees  :tu:

Nice vise.  Needs some TLC, but definitely a keeper.

Striking knife looks solid! Been meaning to pick one up for ages as a work knife--they're not too expensive.

Is the hack knife a Footprint? I saw a Draper the other day that looked too nice to be used as one. That Record will need a lot of time on the wire wheel, not sure if I would have the courage... I'm way too lazy!! By the way, how's the dumbbell vise base doing?

I'm not sure about the maker of the hack knife it's in a pile of future projects
I'm hoping the vice will be OK with a clean up and oil then depending on condition it might get a coat of paint
To be honest if the thing isn't broken it can be used as it is after a drop of oil  :tu:
The dumbbell vice is getting some use as a vise but mostly its being a heavy weight for gluing  :D

A small haul this morning
Some bags and a box full of new bolts
The little 'pry bar' is a Crown Trade Center paint tin opener
A lovely old Stanley knife
I can't see a stamp on the hobo knife but the blade is carbon steel with a stainless fork

Yeah, I threw the square in the lot because I don't have one that size. . I have three larger ones given to me in similar condition. I'm planning on tackling them at the end of the month.  I'll try to take before and after photos.

The top pearhead ratchet is a Proto.  The slim ratchet at the bottom is a Thorsen.  The sockets are an interesting mix of Proto, Williams, SK, and Craftsman.  Not a single Thorsen socket.  :dunno:
