The pipe wrench is a Stillson by Walworth.  8 inches.  It needs a good cleaning.  The teeth are in great shape.

I never had good luck with pipe wrenches. For some reason or another, I was never able to get them to bite into the pipe and fittings just right. Thank God for PEX!

Nice finds, Yadda! :tu: I will likely be making future tool purchases at flea markets, garage sales, and estate sales. Snap-On has apparently resorted to some shysterly practices as of late, and I'm unaware of other companies who manufacture quality hand tools in the USA.

I'll have to do some research into that topic. Hopefully Estwing hasn't cheaped out and sent production overseas.

Who made the lighter? Dunhill, perhaps?

Sadly not!  Good old Ronson.  It's in fine working order though.  Just needed a new flint and some fuel and it sparks up every time.

My estate sale buy.  Husky No. 9120, 20 piece socket set.  Missing the ratchet, breaker bar and the short extension, Cleaning supplies, Dasco pry bats. And most of a Wizard set of 1/4 drive sockets.

How’s this, I helped the neighbor with his car, he wanted to pay me and I’m like no, if you ever need any help just ask, well he knew I was after a vice so he just pulls this out from inside a workbench and says “here, I know you need one, will this work”? I was like OMG, are you serious? He then said “it’s not new, but I know your after one” I was like are you kidding it’s like brand new! So I got me a new toy,

Well that 30.9lb swiveler is going right on that corner of the workbench, that way once it’s cleaned off along with the rest of the garage I can work on it with the rest of the like 12ft bench or turn it so it will work the depth of the bench, or the width of the two car garage, don’t get me wrong, of course I could turn it so it goes out the door for some very long oddball job too,,

Congratulations on a really great gift! I could probably use a vise myself, but now isn't the time.

I went back to an estate sale I visited last week and picked up this sweet little sharpening angle jig made by Veritas for Bridge City Tool Works.  The owner had lots of BCTW tools, but the prices were all too far out of my price range. Most of them sold for ebay range prices. This was a big final clean out sale, so I picked up this little jewel for $7.

You have fantastic luck at estate sales! Being a guy who could use a few tools (especially a big breaker bar), I'll keep an eye out for such things in my area.

I went to 4 estate sales this weekend and found very little.   Nothing at three of them.  I use the Estate Sales.net  app.  Good sales post pictures allowing you to see what is available.

Recent garage sale buy.  I bought the scroll saw for $25 and she threw in the router table for free.

So like,
“hmm, let’s see how this works compared to my current one, ooh this one’s smoother and is a delta!”

On that note let’s switch this one out with mine and then I’ll sell that one..
