Friday's small estate sale buy.  The fun finds were the Perfection Nut Cracker and the Roll-a-Ruler.  Cool finds include a pristine Stanley 199 utility knife, a Stanley 58-011 Self Centering Nail Set, and Italian made poultry shears. Round it out with NOS jigsaw blades and hardware.

Friday's estate sale buy. SK Lectrolite combination wrench set, from the early to mid 60's, (7 of 11 wrenches, in fair shape), three Craftsman =v=, DOE wrenches, five Thorsen combination wrenches, and two 3-in-1 oil cans.

Edit: looks like there will be a shop cleanup this coming weekend. I won't be going in on Saturday (I have a $10 off at Meijer coupon that will not be going to waste), but I'll be in on Sunday. That could be an opportunity to treasure hunt. :D

First estate sale buys of the new year. These Indestro tool boards were  an unexpected buy. Interestingly, there wasn't a single Indestro tool in the garage. I have a few Indestro tools, but don't collect them.  They aren't perfect, but they are in good shape considering their age.

Indesto/Duro made a lot of inexpensive tools and were early adopters of importing tools made overseas. However, they also made quality tools here in the US and also made contract tools for other companies.

This is the small goods from two different estate sales. In the second photo. Mostly oil, brake fluid, and cleaners, two rusty Williams Superrenches, and a Roe 752N 6 ft tape measure. The little oil can was made in Italy. In the first photo, tools include a Stanley Handyman H1275 keyhole saw, a Millers Falls 369, 3 inch aluminum line level, a True Temper  Little Giant transfer shovel (not shown), and and a Rosco Torx driver.

Nice!  :tu: I soooo wanted the Stanley 175th Anniversary tape measure, we were even going to the store to get one when it came out yet something came up and we turned around, thus after that the shelves were cleaned off and never could find one,, yet I did find this one, I don’t remember when,,

After spilling half of one of the new "environmentally friendly" cans several times, we ordered one of the older style ones. Naturally, after using the other one a half dozen times in a year, I've only used the nicer one once in like five.
