A few weeks back I bought this Reed MFG No. 2A pipe threader.  I'm a sucker for old tools in their original wooden boxes.

To be strictly accurate you could probably have just stopped at: "I'm a sucker for old tools"    :pok:  :salute:

Saturday's estate sale buy.  Lots of consumables and a few tools. Craftsman hedge shears, three Snap-On screwdrivers, an Enderes 6-in-1 screwdriver. A huge sharpening stone in fair to poor shape, three advertising  yardsticks, and a Durall No. 112 rock maple mitre box.

I heard that our local factory that makes yardsticks isn't making them any longer...

Saturday estate sale buy number 1.   Everyrhing is Craftsman. The sockets are Craftsman  6-sided metric deep well.  The hammer is a Craftsman model A40, 16 ounce, framing style hammer. The hatchet, Robo Grips, and maul are also Craftsman tools.

This is the second of my estate sale buys this week.  For the first time ever, I found hammer handles.  Probably hickory, maybe oak,  probably seconds, but they are all straight and unused.  Three hand pruners, a  Bonney, 8 inch curved adjustable wrench, Dupont No. 4 dynamite pliers, Indestro 1/2 inch drive ratchet, a  Plumb 40 ounce ballpeen hammer, and two as yet unidentified drawknives.

The little ratcheting offset screwdriver is a Stanley No. 3400.  The mini hacksaw is also a Stanley.

Ct and Pa had two of the best flea markets, there’s supposedly one large one only 30min away in Mi, but when you don’t drive it’s hard to get to, thus we’ve never been to it..

Those pocket pick-up tools are worth far more than their weight in gold. Great finds! :tu:

I pick them up if they are all metal.   They are very handy.
