The big black handled screwdriver is made by Moore & Wright in Sheffield
Its a No8 'SCRUTITE' wood handle (beach?) with a square shaft, a through tang and a 'striking butt ' (I make this up as I go along) there's also a hexagonal 'ferule' so you can assist the screwdriver with a spanner

I'm really pleased I picked this one up this morning  :tu:

You need to put some of those plywood knobs you made on the front instead of the ribbon pulls :tu:

I got a rusty BAK this weekend.  Rust is mainly surface by the looks of it so should clean up.  No idea as to the date yet; that's still under the rust :)
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I made those on the spork polisher which is dead at the moment  :(
How about the bent up teaspoon knob?   :tu:

I got offered a knackered BAK a few weeks ago for 12 quid  ::) but not seen many SAKs or BAKs for a while, just piles of kids clothes

Saw a cool motor the other week, would have sorted the sporkolisher nicely but it was already sold :(

How about SAK scales with a couple of bits of aluminium tube and a pair of bolts.  That'd make nice and appropriate handles.  Bent teaspoons would also work, then again so do bits of ribbon but where's the fun in that :)
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I did think about SAK handles but the thing isn't worth spending much time/effort on, its only made from cardboardy stuff

I'm keeping an eye out for one of these  :salute:
