Yea, I have beat the tar out of my pulse and it is still kicking.  I was afraid of hurting the locks early on as well, but they are solid as a rock.  Use without caution!

From reading this thread I wonder what the oldest date codes are for the Pulse...it seems a few of us have handles with 0900/1000 date code pairs but nobody has posted anything earlier.
I recalled mine were stamped with 2000 dates, but couldn't recall the month. Sure enough; they were both 1100.

A couple of new arrivals have augmented my Pulse collection. The newest has 1000 handle dates and appears to be just about completely unused.

Picked up this little pretty last week.  It's since gotten a fair workout.  I'm going to have to find one of the Nite Ize Eclipse thingies for it.

Send it to me for a week or two, once I've put a little 'work' into it you won't feel so bad. :D

Honestly I can somewhat sympathise, I always got the same way when buying a shiny new SAK or MT.  The first tiny little blemish always makes me sad, but it's never stopped me using one.  Keep in mind it's still a tool (a damn good one at that) and it's whole purpose was to be used. :pok:

Here is my baby with it's larger brother the ST200 both are still used from time to time but they are becoming shelf queens rapidly due to there age and rare nature I looked after them well as you can see.

I'm alive, I have a Pulse :D got this from EDCsource a UK seller too, bargain :tu:
NIB, excellent unused condition, still has factory grease on those fancy roll locks, date code 1000.

Pretty good sheath, no as good as those early PST ones.

Very nice styling.

Lanyard ring has its own cut out on the back due to the rolled edges.

Lock closed, pretty neat.

Lock open, an interesting design.

A gorgeous MT, now looking forward to getting the ST200.

Very pleased with this :tu:
