the famous swiss tool snap sound

Hi

I was wondering  those who have taken the swiss tool apart, what is it that gives them that wonderful snap sound that they make when ou open them up.  I ve taken my leatherman apart and polished all the parts,  the action is now as smooth as  my spirit but iit doesn't have that snapping sound.  Is there something special about swiss tool that gives them that sound?
