SAK Scale Swapout..

Hey guys,
Just curious how many of you occasionally swap out the scales on your SAKs with other styles or colors?

Recently I changed out my 23 + year old beatup Swisschamps original red scales to white which I think came to very cool and a little bit different as well..

I usually don't mess with the scales unless i am modding a SAK Sometimes i will put new plus scales and sometimes i refinish the old scales. White is my favorite SAK scale color. We need pics people around here can't get enough SAK porn.  :D

Here are my two favorites for SAK EDC, the Swisschamp and the Wenger S585 Evo..

Yeah I do enjoy having scales other than the traditional red.  The green has to be my favourite but white is a close second.

Merit Badges Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Delemont SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Must start a thread with a photo of your birth year SAK Start a new thread and post a photo of the minimal sak (2 layers or fewer) for thirty (30) consecutive days. I recently rescued this Spartan (and some others)from the scrapyard



but the back scale had some advertising on it so I swapped it out with a black scale,liked it so much its been my EDC ever since.



its now called a Victorinox "Piano"  :D

Very cool but so far from a VIC point of view, can anyone change out the scales of a Gasp! dare I say, a Wenger??

They certainly come off much like a Vic's, but I've never swapped them around.  far harder to source the Wenger scales, in fact I can't think of anywhere that does them. :-\
