My First Shadowbox

Hello everyone.  Well here it is, the start of my first shadowbox.  My step dad found the shadowbox and gave it to me knowing that I have a few multis and knives now.  I have never really seen one before and he told me what it was and such.  I cleaned it up with some Murphy's oil soap and glued in the felt to give it a bit of color rather than leave it all dark inside.  I am trying to figure a way to set it up with the few items that I have.  I want it to be a display case but also leave the tools useable.  I am thinking of using small hooks to hang the multi tools from via their lanyard rings.  Any advice and ideas?  The size is 16x12x3 in inches.
