A strange little Squirt P4....

Got a quandry for you LM gurus to figure out - I purchased a small lot of Squirts/Micras and in the mix, there was a P4...in Solar Yellow.

It's not refinished, scales are a little bit scuffed n worn, but shining brightly. All the tools are in fine working order.

I emailed Leatherman, they replied back that they had no records of ever producing anything in yellow, except for the KF4 Juice.

Another thing that is puzzling: the two blue Squirts have a (tm) after Squirt, but the two pink ones and the yellow one each have (R), and all of them have (R) after leatherman.

I'll be taking a fieldtrip over to Leatherman Portland headquarters soon

so I'll take it along and see if anyone on-site might have some idea.

It appears to be legitimate, everything seems to match up with the two other P4s I have - it's just those funky yellow scales.

So, we made plans for Strangz to come on over to my house during my garage sale and bring the legendary squirt. He was a no show and I've sent him a few PMs with no response. Bummer...I was hoping to see the Squirt.

The OP posted 5 times. 4 in this thread, and once to buy a PST. He was active for like 4 days.

He claimed possession of an unheard-of rarity, got people interested in purchasing it, and when invited to show it to someone, disappeared. Forever.

So, options are...
1) It was BS, and he was running a con. Being called on it, he split, wouldn't return, now trying to pull his BS elsewhere.
2) It was a fake, and he was embarrassed to show it off after having touted it.
3) It was legitimate, and he got hit by a bus on the way to show it off.
4) Staring at the tool's magnificence, he was mesmerized, and completely forget about going to show it to someone, or that he'd ever visited these forums.
5) Finding the coveted tool summoned the arch angel Multitoolicus Covetouris and he ascended into heaven as a reward for finding such a perfect collector's item.

Option 1 is almost certainly the case. Option 2, while possible, is much less likely.
