Regarding the Wave, is it the large-headed screw that is broken? Or the file blade itself?
In either case, it sounds like a job for the Leatherman warranty department.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I would agree with that- contact Leatherman's customer service and make arrangements to have it sent in for evaluation and repair.

Leatherman123. I see that was your first post, so... Welcome to the forum!
I definately agree with the others here... it looks like the Leatherman Warranty Department would be your best bet.
Aside from the problems, what do you think of both the Wave and the Core?

I like them a lot. I have almost every multitool out there besides the sog switchplier... The Charge XTI is my alltime favorite though along with the TTI... What do you think is better the Leatherman Core or Vic Swisstool? same implements basically besides the chisel.

I don't yet own a LM Core or a SwissTool
Both of them are on my list of tools to buy though. With all the debate that goes on here about those two tools, they both sound very nice. The American in me wants to go with the Core, but it's hard to deny that the Swisstools are some of the nicest tools ever made.

You don't have a SwissTool? That's a mandatory part of Moderatorship here! You are going to have to get one soon or you are fired!

I've got a Spirit...I thought that was the mandatory tool to own in order to become a moderator!
