unlimited data plans

with my shinny new phone im supposedly on an unlimited data plan, and unlimited texts. yeah right i read the small print and that means 750mb a month data and 3000 texts, i know ill never use all the texts but just how much is 750mb? will i use it all up being on messenger for a few hours a day and some light browsing?

im guessing 750 is quite alot but just want to be on the safe side

They have a fair usage policy, so if you do overrun, they'll just ask you to please stop. Very unlikely that you will though - you'll be fine

The only thing that bugs me with the fair useage policies is that you can eat through a lot of data with the BBC iplayer.  Not that my Nokia 1100 has that issue, just saying

Mine's an iPhone specific plan I think.

I use everything on it - Satnav, web, apps, youtube, download music etc and they haven't said anything (or billed me any extra) yet.

At college we have a daily allowance of 750mb and Iplayer date that quickly

I've only used 22% of my 1GB limit this month, so I don't think it'll be a problem..

I notice here in the UK the networks are stopping doing unlimited plans.  Most are only bundling 500MB a month, the tight gits.
